, coast guard academy cadets who were on the beach at the time, and a lot of other folks, we almost had the fire out with buckets of seawater before the Beach Patrol warned us away from the truck. Worst part was, realizing this was a bad situation, I tost alot of stuff out of the cab , including my wallet, into a pile near about 30' away from the south side of the truck. After the flames died away and we started picking up the mess and I realized someone had stolen my wallet, credit cards ...
